Maui: Day 3

SUCH A GOOD DAY!!

Macadamia nut pancakes at the hotel restaurant for breakfast, then off on my hike through the rainforest at the north of the island.


There was cool flora:

And a lot of mud

But I was able to wash it off by crossing a stream (video)...I don't start crossing till like 27 secs in

Ate lunch above a waterfall, no big deal

And photobombed the waterfall at the end of this video; Maui got lots of rain in the last few weeks, so there was a ton of water

Then hiked more:

We came to this rushing stream and waterfall:

So...I jumped in.

Terrifying...but so amazing :) I felt like a superhero afterwards haha

After getting back to the hotel I went to the beach, hung out, then went to a beachside bar with this view

And drank a seltzer with pineapple juice, and then seltzer with watermelon ice cubes, cucumber, and mint. Aaaah.

Then back to the hotel, dinner downstairs, and then some laps in the pool (which I had all to myself!)

Tomorrow: snorkeling adventures!

Maui: Day 2

Rained allll day. I got a massage, took a walk on the rainy beach, just hung out.
